Dbase III Plus Website

As part of MT Services 50th year, we are looking back through our archive at key products in the history of the business.

Ashton-Tate’s dBASE was the first sophisticated database program for personal computers, the dBASE file formats became a de-facto standard, it originally developed for the CP/M OS and later Microsoft DOS.

Released in 1984 dBASE III Plus introduced numerous new features from previous versions and it was a best-seller throughout the 1980s.

dBase III Plus was one of the first development tools MT Services for bespoke applications, both internally and for our customers.
